What is an I-800 A form? For someone that is adopting internationally...this is a very important form. This is the form that our government must approve to allow us to bring a child from another country into our country. As you can see by the picture above, we mailed this form today! We could not send this form in until our Home Study was complete. Our Home Study was officially finalized on January 20, 2009! We have been working on completing our Home Study since September 2008, so having it finalized was/is a really BIG deal! We have been told that it is taking about 3 months for our government to approve this form. We have a few things we will be working on during this time and are hopeful that just maybe our form will be approved quicker. Once we are approved (assuming we will be) then we can FINALLY send our Dossier (all of our adoption paperwork) to China-that will be an exciting day...of course not as exciting as the day that Kamdynn is in our arms!
So now that everyone knows what an I-800 A form is and why it is important to us, I want to share a cute Konner story. On the way to the post office I explained to the boys that we were going to mail something that would help bring their little sister to us (of course Kaleb wanted to know if she was coming "today"). When we got out of the car and were walking into the post office Konner said "Can Kamdynn have two little pony tails on her head (as he was asking this he was showing me on his head)" I said "absolutely" and he said "Good cause that is how she is suppose to look." You can bet that she will have pony tails in her hair every chance I get!

Congrats on making it this far! This is a huge step. Every day is a day closer to bringing Kamdynn home.
