Today our Official Referral Approval arrived! It came in a little pink "Congratulations" folder with her picture on it. It made things feel even more "official" and brought tears to my eyes. I spent most of the day tackling more paperwork so that we could return our signed Referral Approval back to America World. It has to be there by noon on Friday so they can send it to China that day. I made it to the FedEx office with only a few minutes to spare. The last pick-up truck was there picking up deliveries and the driver was so kind to wait for my package! (I think I got there at 4:07 and the last pick-up of the day is 4:15)
From here we have some more paperwork to complete and we wait for our Travel Approval. After that we should be able to FINALLY confirm our travel plans-FINALLY!!
