A change of "HEART"...

Kevin and I have been greatly discouraged by the "wait" time of getting our little girl and have been praying about taking a special needs child to shorten our wait. It is hard to believe, but the current wait time for Chinese adoptions is 44-48 months and increasing each month. This wait time is double what it was when we originally started the process. When you say you are willing to take a special needs child you can also designate the special need. God has blessed us with two amazing families that have HEART babies from China and has used them to open our hearts to taking a HEART baby. Right now we are requesting a heart condition that would potentially either fix itself over time (like a hole in the heart) or that would need one surgery to be fixed forever. We are thankful for the peace that God has given us to go this direction and are in the process of figuring out what we need to do with our agency to get things rolling. We know without a doubt that our little girl will be SPECIAL and that she will not only NEED us, but we will NEED her to make our family complete! Thank you for your continued prayers...
