Day 7-Traveling Day
Today was the first day that we didn't have anything scheduled so we were able to relax before heading to Guangzhou. After breakfast we SKYPED with friends and family, played and packed. Kamdynn seemed a little crabby and it was the first time that we couldn't make her happy. We finally gave her some Ibuprofen (we think she may be working on some more teeth) and she took an early nap. She woke up happy but after a while was getting "stir crazy" as we had been in our hotel room for several hours...so we went for a walk. She really liked the glass elevator where she could see outside so we went up and down several times. She seems to like to "go and do" so I think she will fit in with life back home well. Later, we met our guide and the rest of the group in the lobby at 3:15 to head to the airport. It took about an hour to get to the airport and when we got there it was crowded and hot (I'm not sure why they wouldn't have air conditioning in an airport). Our flight ended up being delayed and we sat at the airport for over four hours, which was exhausting. Our flight to Guangzhou was only an hour but by the time we got there, got our luggage, met our guide and took the bus to the hotel is was almost midnight. Tomorrow is Kamdynn's medical check-up and I'm hoping that she doesn't need to many shots.
